Long time no blog …

Yeah, I’m a lazy blogger and don’t write very often. So sue me! ;)

Anyway, here’s what you missed between this posting and my last one: Together with my colleagues from gamer-FM, I went to the North of Germany (to the Heide-Park Soltau to be exact) for the German National Final of the World Cyber Games 2006. You can find a few snapshots of our technical equipment in the appropriate gallery.

In other news, last weekend I visited the city of Hagen in Germany for the [‘ju:nien] X LAN party. Needless to say that I had a lot of fun, so much in fact, that I actually forgot to unpack my camera and shoot a few pictures. I guess if you really want a glance at how the event looked, you can visit the LANparty.de galleries.

So much for the past, for the future: This Saturday I’m off to Italy to assist in the World Cyber Games 2006 Grand Final. Not as a player of course, they still haven’t included ‘Tachyon: The Fringe’ in their game selection. ;) I’ll be just a normal techie/stage hand as usual, and in my idle time I’ll be annoying my pal Bonkers who’s actually qualified for the final and playing Need for Speed Most Wanted for Luxembourg. Maybe I’ll even shoot a few photos, we’ll see.

P.S. My new navigations system, an Asus MyPal 636N, is alive and doing fine by the way. Apart from the lost money, I can’t really regret losing the old one.
